Start Here

If you work during the day and want to trade futures seriously, here is the order I would do things in, having done most of them in the wrong order first. None of it costs money. The links to tools and firms further down are affiliate links, explained on the disclosure page; hosting is not free and neither is coffee.

1. Make peace with the night shift

Not a consolation prize for people who cannot make the open. The Globex session has its own open at 6 pm Eastern, its own first hour, its own participants and its own rhythm. The first lesson makes the case; the rest show you how it moves.

2. Read the lessons

Lessons from the Darkside: a collection of them, in reading order, a couple of hours of reading in total. Session anatomy, the levels that matter after dark, the setups that survive the night, risk, and the schedule that fits around a job. Learned the expensive way, offered the free way.

3. Watch me do it before you do it

The streams are recordings of me trading the night session with the chart on screen: the plan before the open, the levels, the trades and the misses. Watch for the decisions, not the score. The score is in the journal, where it cannot be edited.

4. Read the journal, bad nights first

Every night I trade gets written up in the journal, including the ones I would rather forget. It is the honest version of this site: what the plan was, what happened, and what I left on the table. Read a few bad nights before you trust a good one.

5. Build a desk, not a cockpit

You do not need my desk to start. You need a charting platform, a broker and a journal. The tools page lists what I run every session, what each piece does, and which ones are there because I like gadgets.

6. Find people who are also awake

Trading alone at 11 pm is how good plans die quietly. The community is a small group of traders around the world who meet on Discord every session and hold each other to the plan. Read how it works, then ask for an invite if it sounds like you.

What this site is not. It is not a signal service, a trade room, or a system for sale. Nobody here calls trades for you, and nobody is going to tell you that you can quit your job by Friday. The point is that you learn to read the night session and run your own plan.

Trade the session your life actually allows.

The night session is a complete market. Learn how it moves, watch me trade it live, read the write-up the next morning, and if you want people who trade the same hours, there is a room for that.
